What We Do

Evidence for Better Health works across the research-to-action continuum. Our work focuses on generating relevant evidence, strengthening research capacity, translating findings into accessible knowledge products, and creating opportunities for evidence to inform policy, practice and communities.

Research & Evidence Generation

We support and contribute to research that addresses priority health challenges, with particular emphasis on locally relevant questions and evidence that can inform real-world decisions.

Evidence Translation & Knowledge Mobilization

We translate research findings into clear and accessible formats, including evidence summaries, policy briefs and other knowledge products designed for policymakers, practitioners, researchers and communities.

Research Capacity Strengthening

We strengthen practical research capacity through training, mentorship and knowledge exchange in areas including research methods, epidemiology, biostatistics, data analysis and evidence communication.

Policy, Practice & Community Engagement

We create opportunities for researchers, decision-makers, practitioners and communities to engage with evidence, exchange perspectives and strengthen the connection between research and action.

Our Projects

Our projects and collaborations bring together research, capacity strengthening, evidence translation and stakeholder engagement to address priority health challenges. As our portfolio grows, this section will highlight ongoing and completed initiatives, collaborations and their impact.
